Have your say on local policing

What are your local police doing well? What would you like to see more of? How safe do you feel in your local area?

These are the questions that Staffordshire Commissioner for Police, Fire & Rescue and Crime, Ben Adams and Chief Constable Chris Noble are asking you as residents of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

The Public Perception survey will help to determine how confident local people are in Staffordshire Police and highlight satisfaction levels around how accessible and visible the force is.

The survey closes on 26 June and findings will inform future plan priorities, highlight any challenges around reporting concerns and support local decision-making to help keep Staffordshire safe.

Staffordshire Commissioner Ben Adams said: ‘This survey is your opportunity to tell us what you think we are doing well, what we could do more of and help us shape the service around your priorities. By taking part, you will be ensuring your voice is reflected in policing.

‘It is essential my office and the force understand how they are perceived by the public in order to identify areas which could be improved and inform future local decision-making. This feedback will assist me in my regular performance meetings to hold the Chief Constable to account.’

Chief Constable Chris Noble added: ‘This is a great opportunity for residents of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to have their say on policing in their local area.

‘We want to know more about your personal experiences of policing, including your views on police visibility in your area and what you think should be the biggest priorities for Staffordshire Police.

‘It’s really important that we understand your views on the service we provide in order to inform the future decisions we make to keep your community safe.’
